PROMOTIONAL FASHION FILM & LIVE EVENT AFTERMOVIE

Following the success of the “Reclaim the Night” 2019 event, the team at the University of Manchester Students Union once again invited us back to produce two videos for 2020. The first would be a fast-paced, skater and rock themed, promotional fashion film for their new line of t-shirts (on sale to raise money for the cause). The second would be an event-aftermovie style video, covering Manchester’s Reclaim the Night March, which over 3000 people attend each year.

Having worked on this project the previous year, we were very excited to travel down to Manchester from Glasgow and approach the project from a new and different angle. For the first promotional t-shirt video we had an awesome team of models and skateboarders, and we shot on location at Projekts Manchester Skatepark, which is directly under the Mancunian Way motorway, hiring in some awesome Astera AX-1 programmable LED lights from our friends at ProCam. Editing for both projects took place back in Glasgow, and both films were released to a brilliant reception on the University of Manchester Students Union Facebook page and Instagram (we provided a vertical edit, as well as the usual horizontal, specifically for posting on IG).
