By default, we are a full-service production company, handling the whole process from start to finish. However, occasionally our clients bring us on for just part of the process.
Consulting
You’re keen to start sharing video, but aren't sure what you need.
Vimeo or YouTube? Long-form or short-form? Facebook or Instagram, or both? Which content should go on each? Getting started with video can be daunting, so we can offer free consultancy phone calls to work out what the right path is for your business - many of our new clients haven’t had video produced for them before. We’re committed to finding the right option that will work for you and show the best return on investment.
Conceptualisation
You need a concept for a video that fits your goals.
Having scripted and storyboarded multiple music videos, documentary pieces, and promotional films for corporate clients, we are well versed in creating and developing concepts to achieve a certain goal. We have a great network of Directors and Producers who can help you come up with a concept, then create a script and storyboard. Frequently we work around multiple limitations, including weather (especially in Scotland!) and budget.
Filming
You direct the project, and leave the camerawork to us.
Some of our clients have a clear idea of what they want to execute, but don’t have access to the equipment required to make it reality. We own a wide range of professional production equipment, from cameras and lenses, to lights and sliders, to gimbals and drones, and we can operate it all for you while you direct (or, leave that to us too, and just sit back and watch).
Editing
You have the raw footage already, and you need it put together.
Frequently our clients come to us with a large quantity of raw footage - perhaps from an old project, or from a project with another company which has recently fallen through - and a new idea. We offer post-production only services to turn your existing footage into a polished film, and have the computers and file storage solutions to deal with multiple streams of 4K at short notice.
Polishing & Colour Grading
Your footage is already edited, but you need it polished.
We can finish off already-started edits for you - tightening up audiovisual sync, adding creative effects, and of course the all-important colour grading to make your video stand out, as well as multi-format exports (e.g. differing aspect ratios) for different platforms. These are all standard steps in our production pipeline for every project we create in-house. We are comfortable in FCPX and Adobe Creative Suite.
Distribution
You have a video completed, and you need advice on sharing it.
Multi-platform releases (and the associated formats) can be daunting, and so we can offer advice to help with preparing correctly-formatted content for the common video sharing sites (e.g. Vimeo and YouTube) as well as social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and best practices for each.
